How to Travel as a Vegetarian/Vegan



Vegetarian food can be a massive problem during International Travel. Especially if you are indian and looking for specific indian food, this blog can help you a lot. While traveling I have seen that indian food can be expensive. So it's best to plan this kind of vacation.you can use this as a guide for your food while traveling. Make sure you check all the policies of the country where you are traveling to. 


Home Food:- 


The first tip is to pack some food from home and the food you need to pack is something that survive for a long time. Most common thing that we indian carry while traveling is something known as "Puri Sabji" which everybody eats and it's very very widely carry when traveling internationally.
The other thing that you can pack from home is theplas and mathris, which is liked by everyone. Apart from this, you can also carry some package food items like chips, bhelpuri, cuppa noodles etc.



you can also keep nuts in your option like almonds, cashew nuts and peanuts, which everyone likes to eat and also have health.

Find Vegetarian in Western :-  

Many time it's happens when you are traveling in a group and you want to go for a nice dinner outside while you are on a holiday. What do you eat if you are vegetarian?  So that time you walk to MacDonald and Burger King of course you do not get veggie burger but what you can do is you can request them to just Veggie burger i.e. Onion, Tomato, Capsicum whatever they may have in veg.

Supermarket:- 


The next tip is to visit a supermarket weather you are traveling to Bangkok, Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, UK, US any where in the world you will find a supermarket where you get a good amount and good price for vegetables and fruits. This is a great meal option it's good for breakfast, it's just good for carrying around with you. I think this is a great way you will save money. So the trick is to visit supermarket in the beginning of your trip so that you can stock up for rest of the trip. Another thing you can buy from supermarket while traveling is stuff like Bread, Butter and Cheese just getting some bread, butter & cheese and getting some vegetables like Tomato, Cucumber, Capsicum just makes for a nice really nice quick sandwich it is a nice meal you can carry around. You can buy some cupcakes and Muffins from the supermarket. 

Look for indian food:-


This thing really happened to me and I am sure it must have happened to you too. After eating all the packed food, trying new food and surviving on fruit but later on I crave for good Indian food. So try to find an Indian restaurant. It can be expensive so you take combo meal.
